For us, tourism is so much more than beautiful landscapes and extraordinary adventures. It’s about people — their histories, their cultures, their communities — and the ways in which their lives are touched every time someone visits, takes a photo, or shares their story with the world.
As a boutique travel company, we’ve spent years crafting journeys that honor Bolivia’s incredible diversity, but we’ve also witnessed the delicate balance between welcoming travelers and protecting the essence of the places and people they meet.
We believe that responsible tourism starts with honesty — with the courage to celebrate everything tourism can do right, while also recognizing the harm it can cause when profit comes before people.
This space isn’t about pointing fingers or offering easy answers. It’s a space for reflection, dialogue, and asking the hard questions we can no longer avoid. And it’s written from inside the industry, from our own experiences as travel designers, as partners to local communities, and as witnesses to the transformations — both beautiful and painful — that tourism brings to Bolivia and beyond.
